Berlin, Tuesday, May 24, 2016

The Korean-German Start-up Investment Forum will take place as part of the 4th Embassy Day Asia-Pacific on May 24. Taking up this year's main focus on start-ups and their ecosystems the event will explore aspects of location, contexts and interaction networks for growth and innovation.

Within this setting, hosted by the Korean Embassy, MOTIE, and organised by KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), a non-profit governmental organisation under the direction of MOTIE, we would like to give you the opportunity to meet the representatives of leading Korean start-ups.

Korean start-up companies from several segments, such as mobile solutions and applications, FinTech, e-commerce, IoT, performance materials (for automotive & electronics), mobile gaming, biotech, and healthcare, will participate in the event.

The forum will begin with plenary sessions that deliver an overview on start-ups in Korea – their activities, their unique features, their innovation, and their competitiveness, but also how much investments go into start-ups, and who is investing. If you are interested in putting money into these dynamic and promising young companies, we will provide you with the opportunity to personally get in touch with the representatives of the Korean start-ups in 1:1 business meetings after the plenary session.

Your presence at the forum will certainly contribute to making this event to an invaluable occasion. Confirmation of your availability to attend the plenary sessions and/or the 1:1 business talks in advance would be very much appreciated.
